Did you know that August is National ASC Month? What a great way for the team to celebrate that, as on August 24th, they performed their 1000th case at Wilmington Health’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. Since the ASC’s Grand Opening in June 2023, the team has celebrated many advancements and successes, such as being awarded The Joint Commission’s National Quality Approval Gold Seal, implementation of an orthopaedic total joint program, a pacemaker generator exchange, and the addition of the most advanced robotic surgery program at a freestanding surgical facility!
