Rely on our podiatrists for all of your foot, ankle, and lower extremity needs. Wilmington Health’s Foot and Ankle team includes three podiatrists on staff, providing patients with expanded access to specialized care compared to many local practices that may have only one provider. Our physicians are experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions and are committed to helping patients stay active and pain-free.
In addition to assisting with custom orthotics, our comprehensive center is equipped to treat a full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions using both non-surgical and surgical interventions when necessary. Most of our providers also perform surgical procedures, allowing patients to receive both conservative care and advanced treatment options within the same practice when appropriate.
To further support access to care across our region, Dr. Dzurik performs surgery at three surgical locations, including Wilmington Health’s Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Novant, and Dosher. This expanded surgical access allows patients from surrounding communities to receive specialized podiatric care closer to home.
Conditions treated include, but are not limited to: arthritis, accessory bones, Achilles tendon pathology or rupture, bunions, cavus deformities, Charcot deformities, equinus, flat feet, fractures, hammertoe deformities, ingrown toenails, nail disorders, neuromas, nonunions and malunions, osteomyelitis, plantar fasciitis and heel pain, plantar fibromas, plantar warts, residual clubfoot, sesamoid injuries (turf toe), sports injuries, strains and sprains, and ulcerations.
