Her office is conveniently located in the Fitpark on Tiburon. She will be available Monday through Friday for routine or urgent healthcare needs.
ABOUT MCKENZIE
Education: She has received a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Medical Sciences, and Physician Assistant Certification from the University of Denver, Saint Francis University, and Red Rocks Community College.
Experience: She is experienced in caring for patients of all ages and has worked in family medicine, urgent care, and behavioral health for healthcare facilities in Colorado and North Carolina.
Barbara Thornton, CMA
Barbara will be working closely with McKenzie here at our Fitpark on Tiburon location.
ABOUT BARBARA
Barb is a mother of four grown children. She comes to Wilmington from Las Vegas. She loves the beach and going to concerts.
Education: CNA, EMT-A, College of Southern Nevada, RCMA (AAH)
Experience: Throughout her 14 year career she has worked in the 911 EMS system, the ER, Las Vegas jail, and an urgent care before joining the Wilmington Health team.
