The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends Well-Child Checkups as listed on the schedule below.
- Newborn (2 days after discharge from the hospital)
- 2 weeks
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years
- 4 years
- Yearly until 18 years of age
This schedule ensures that your child receives their immunizations to provide optimum protection from preventable illnesses. These visits are also necessary to evaluate your child for developmental abilities.
