Biography
Dr. Jeremy M. Hess, DO, is a board-certified internist and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who brings a strong foundation in internal medicine and specialized expertise in digestive health to his patients. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, from routine concerns to complex disorders.
Dr. Hess earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, before pursuing fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Ascension Providence Hospital through Michigan State University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hess has demonstrated leadership and academic excellence, earning recognition such as the American College of Gastroenterology’s Outstanding Poster Presentation Award and being named a finalist in national gastroenterology leadership competitions. He has also presented research at national meetings and held leadership roles within his field.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hess enjoys immersing himself in live music at concerts, following college sports with enthusiasm, and spending time outdoors. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or exploring nature, he values opportunities to relax, recharge, and connect with the activities he loves.
