Biography
Catherine graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with her MSN. She is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Course, Basic Life Support, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and emergency nursing.
Catherine is a North Carolina native and has two dogs. She loves to run and just completed her first 10 mile race!
DOT Exams
Catherine Hawley is a Certified Medical Examiner for Department of Transportation (DOT) exams. Every individual with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is now required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to receive a DOT exam from a Certified Medical Examiner.
DOT exams are required every one to two years, depending on a patient’s medical history. DOT exams are not covered by commercial insurance, the payment is due at time of the physical.
