Biography
Carla holds a Master of Health Sciences from George Washington University’s Physician Assistant Program in Washington, DC. She has been working as a Gastroenterology/Hepatology Physician Assistant since her graduation in 2002. She has a special interest in providing specialized care tailored to women’s unique gastrointestinal concerns.
In addition, Carla obtained her Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in 2023. Outside of her professional pursuits, Carla enjoys spending time with her five children and five grandchildren, as well as her beloved pets. Her diverse interests range from health and fitness to gardening, pickleball, and DIY home projects. She is also actively involved in her church’s activities and engages in mission work.

Diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the digestive system including the stomach, colon, small bowel, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
