Wendy Atkinson, MD, MA
Biography
Dr. Wendy Atkinson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign, IL. She received her Dual Master of Arts in Clinical Investigation and Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. She completed her residency at Trident/Medical University of South Carolina Family Medicine Residency in Charleston, SC. Dr. Atkinson is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Atkinson participates in several areas of fitness including 5-10k obstacle course races, hiking, weight-lifting, and interval training. She enjoys live music and discovering new restaurants with her husband.
