Biography

Bianca C. Coleman, DNP, FNP-C, is a doctoral-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of diverse healthcare experience spanning emergency medicine, critical care transport, and primary care. She is recognized for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients across the lifespan. Currently practicing urgent care and family medicine, Bianca autonomously assesses, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic conditions in complex clinical environments, including rural and resource-limited communities. Her dedication to clinical excellence is reflected in consistently high patient satisfaction ratings and her focus on improving access to equitable, culturally competent healthcare.

Bianca’s clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine and continuous quality improvement. During her Doctor of Nursing Practice training at East Carolina University, she completed over 1,300 clinical hours across primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health while leading a scholarly quality improvement project focused on enhancing palliative and end-of-life care in a mobile integrated health system. She developed innovative, evidence-based care protocols and education programs that improved clinical decision-making and patient outcomes for critically ill populations. Her additional training in addiction treatment, culturally competent care, disaster response, and clinical research further strengthens her ability to provide safe, comprehensive, and data-driven care.

Throughout her career, Bianca has demonstrated strong leadership, mentorship, and commitment to advancing healthcare delivery. She has served in operational and clinical leadership roles in critical care transport, including helping develop safety initiatives, clinical compliance standards, and community education programs. As a mentor and clinical team trainer, she actively supports professional development and expanded clinical competency among healthcare staff. Bianca remains dedicated to lifelong learning, community service, and advocacy for vulnerable populations, striving to improve health outcomes through collaborative, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care.

In her free time, Bianca enjoys spending time with her young daughter, husband, and pets. She and her family enjoy traveling adventures, going to the beach, working on home projects, and trying new recipes.
