Dr. Ashok Shiani has an undergraduate BS from the University of Florida in business management and graduated from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine in the Research Scholarly Concentration Track. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and was honored to be Chief Resident at the same institution. Dr. Shiani completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of South Florida and was Chief Fellow as well . He has been the recipient of several awards, including the Florida American College of Physicians Award, Chairman’s Research Award, and Exemplary Resident. Dr. Shiani is Board Certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology as is the author of multiple scholarly articles in the field of gastroenterology.
