In Orthopaedic Surgery, we provide surgical and non-surgical care to patients with injuries or diseases of the musculoskeletal system. This includes fracture care, treatment of injuries of the muscles, joints, or tendons, as well as degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis. Our team combines advanced clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach to help individuals regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Our Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine department accepts all major insurance plans, including VA and Workers’ Compensation. Patients benefit from a highly experienced care team, including a dedicated Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) who manages durable medical equipment (DME) and casting and brings more than 21 years of experience to patient care. In addition, all of our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) are trained in casting and splinting techniques, ensuring patients receive timely and efficient treatment.
Our Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine team also offers Orthopaedic Assessment and Intervention at our Today’s Care Plus location at 1202 Medical Center Drive. This service helps patients avoid the long waits and high costs often associated with the emergency room. We can evaluate and treat many common orthopaedic conditions, including acute injuries, sprains, and fractures.
For patients requiring advanced surgical care, our team offers specialized procedures, including hip arthroscopy. Dr. Fortun is one of the few providers in our region who performs this minimally invasive procedure, which can help diagnose and treat hip joint conditions while supporting faster recovery and improved outcomes.
