When medically necessary and when the surgeon is in the office, STAT appointments can be accommodated the same day, urgent visits within 24 hours, and urgent surgical procedures may be scheduled within one to two weeks, sometimes sooner. Routine surgical procedures are scheduled promptly following insurance authorization. Our team communicates virtually around the clock, allowing most issues to be addressed quickly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Surgical procedures are performed at the Wilmington Health Ambulatory Surgery Center and Novant facilities. We value direct, functional communication between patients, our clinical team, and the surgeon, and we remain available 24/7 to ensure continuity of care and peace of mind.
