Biography

Tina Langley, DO is a dedicated Family Medicine physician with a strong foundation in evidence-based clinical practice and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. A graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, she brings an academic background in osteopathic medicine, complemented by a range of clinical and research experiences. Throughout her training, Dr. Langley has demonstrated a passion for preventive health and community outreach, consistently aligning her medical practice with the latest clinical guidelines and research to ensure the highest quality of care.

Dr. Langley is known by patients and colleagues alike for her calm, compassionate presence and ability to truly listen. She believes effective healthcare begins with empathy and communication, and she works diligently to create a welcoming space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Whether educating families about pediatric care or addressing complex chronic illnesses, Dr. Langley ensures that every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, rooted in both clinical evidence and the patient’s own values and goals.

Dr. Langley also specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). OMT is a hands-on, evidence-informed approach used by Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) to prevent, diagnose, and treat injuries and illnesses. Through a variety of manual techniques — including stretching, gentle pressure, joint articulation, myofascial release, soft tissue work, muscle energy techniques, high-velocity low-amplitude (HVLA) thrusts, cranial osteopathy, and lymphatic drainage — OMT works to improve alignment, restore function, relieve pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.

OMT is used to treat a wide range of conditions. Whether it’s easing back pain, helping with headaches, treating sports injuries, or supporting recovery from illness, OMT is a drug-free, non-invasive therapy that often complements other forms of traditional medical care. It allows for a more holistic and patient-centered approach to treatment.

Her dedication to medicine extends beyond the clinic through volunteer efforts, including providing free sports physicals to local youth and hosting community health education events on topics such as stroke prevention. A lifelong learner and active member of professional organizations like the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Langley combines her scientific knowledge with a deep sense of responsibility to serve her community with integrity and compassion. As she continues her training starts her practice with Wilmington Health, she remains focused on delivering care that is both medically sound and profoundly human.

In her free time, Dr. Langley enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking for them, and finding a variety of shells at the beach.
