X-Ray

X-rays are a type of radiation that pass through the body and get absorbed at different rates by different parts of the body. X-rays are used in a number of radiology procedures to produce images of the inside of the body. They are an effective way of looking at bones in order to detect and diagnose various conditions. While mainly used to examine bones, X-rays can also be effective in detecting problems with the internal organs.

At Wilmington Health, we have the most advanced x-ray equipment, which allows for a reduction in patient scan times, allowing our patients to return to their daily activities rather quickly. Most of our locations provide X-ray services and/or X-ray services can be scheduled at one of our nearby locations. All of our patients have the ease of scheduling, as well as orders being placed by their providers. The providers have access to their results rather quickly, which allows for our patients to receive a treatment plan as soon as possible.
