Biography
Wendie Gessner, MSN, FNP-BC graduated from Duke University of Nursing in Durham, NC with a Master of Science in Nursing and became Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Wendie graduated with a concentration in HIV/AIDS. She also served as a Critical Care Transport Nurse in Raleigh, NC during the Pandemic. Wendie has served in the acute and urgent care settings for many years, providing emergency care for patients of all ages. Wendie takes much pride in providing evidence-based care to the patients she serves, and most importantly efficient, quality care when patients need it most.
Wendie enjoys the outdoors, boating, paddle boarding, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their Australian shepherds.
Wendie obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Duke University, NC.
