Biography
Teresa Hughes, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CCRN, graduated from Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies with a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Specialization. Teresa served for over a decade as a clinical nurse in the cardiac surgery, cardiology, thoracic transplant specialties. She later served as a Nurse Practitioner in the Advanced Lung Disease and Nephrology Transplant departments at University of Maryland Medical Center. Lastly, she served at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland as a Nurse Practitioner in the Transplant/Hepatopancreatobilary Surgery department.
With her vast and comprehensive experience in a variety of clinical settings, Teresa brings both her expertise and compassion for patients and their healthcare needs. She dedicates herself to providing evidence-based, high-quality care to the patients that she serves.
Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, boating, exercising, and reading.
