Biography

Michele Populus, MSN, RN, FNP-C graduated with a Master of Science as Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. She graduated Cum Laude upon receipt of her Bachelor of Science from the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, NC. Michele has served as a Director of Nursing, Branch Manager, and Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor. Her leadership skills and experience have provided her the ability to mentor and develop nurses in our region. Michele is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. With over 20 years of clinical experience in diverse settings, offering excellent patient assessment skills and a dedication to providing holistic, high-quality care.

Michele is passionate about building relationships with patients to create a sense of trust and care. Michele enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs outdoors. She also enjoys gardening and running.

I was very comfortable talking with Michele she shared her love of being in her yard gardening something we have in common. Michelle Poplus is thoughtful and listens to my concerns. During my last visit, she evaluated best treatment options and advised accordingly. Michelle doesn't seem to press for unnecessary evaluations or procedures but recommends common sense treatment options. Michelle is always available if there are follow up questions.

Everything was great, especially the check in, Felecia showed me how to scan a bar code to save on my copay. She also went the extra mile to help me figure out a lab bill that I received in the mail. She was super nice and saved me money. The hour long wait to see the doctor was not so great but the doctor took her time and explained everything to me well so it was worth it in the end.
