Biography
Catherine Duncan graduated from East Carolina University with a Doctorate in Physical therapy. Throughout her professional career, she has supported the Wilmington area in outpatient rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Catherine is a registered yoga teacher and also has extensive experience in aquatic therapy as well as treatment of vestibular disorders. In addition, Catherine has a specialty certification in the LSVT BIG program for Parkinson’s disease. Catherine is passionate about continuing education, and is currently in a Women’s Health Apprenticeship program. Her continued education has covered programs such as Speciality training through the Herman and Wallace institute, the Annual Birth Healing Summit, Postpartum Corrective Exercise, Myofascial Release, Yoga for Women, and Muscle Energy Techniques.
Catherine has acquired a wide array of women’s health techniques related to pelvic floor rehabilitation and care. Catherine is a passionate and experienced physical therapist that strives to optimize a women’s health, mobility, and overall performance through advanced pelvic floor optimization techniques.
