Allan Bulkley, MS, CRNA, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist committed to providing safe, compassionate, and individualized anesthesia care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. He understands that every patient has unique concerns before surgery and strives to create a reassuring experience through clear communication, careful attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. Whether caring for children, expectant mothers, or adults undergoing complex procedures, Allan works closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and quality throughout the surgical journey.
Allan earned his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the Medical University of South Carolina after completing his nursing education at Roberts Wesleyan College and Excelsior College, and beginning his healthcare career as a nationally registered paramedic. He brings extensive experience providing anesthesia in both hospital and ambulatory surgery settings, with particular expertise in regional anesthesia and opioid-sparing techniques designed to enhance recovery and improve patient comfort. Prior to becoming a CRNA, Allan served as a flight nurse, flight paramedic, and intensive care nurse, experiences that strengthened his ability to care for critically ill patients in high-acuity environments. In addition to his clinical practice, he has contributed to anesthesia and emergency medicine through published research, textbook authorship, and national educational presentations, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing evidence-based, high-quality patient care.
