In addition to seeing general urology (both male and female patients), she manages pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse (vaginal bulge), urinary incontinence (leakage/accidents) and overactive bladder. They can range from conservative management to minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Dr. Hess is skilled in native tissue repairs without the use of transvaginal mesh for prolapse and incontinence. In addition, Dr. Hess offers urologic care for patients affected by neurogenic bladder due to diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons Disease and Transverse Myelitis. She provides medical and surgical management of complex voiding disfunction, pelvic floor and genitourinary reconstruction for urinary fistulas, strictures and urethral diverticulum.
