Insurance and Billing Information

Wilmington ASC accepts most major insurance plans. As a courtesy, we will file claims on your behalf with our contracted insurance providers and apply any eligible contractual adjustments to your account. We will also secure any necessary pre-authorizations required by your insurance carrier.

In return, we ask that you fulfill the financial responsibilities outlined in your insurance plan. This includes being aware of your deductible, coinsurance, and copayment amounts. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance company prior to your procedure to understand your financial obligations.

Before your scheduled procedure, we will inform you of any upfront charges from the physician, facility, and anesthesia providers, including any applicable deductibles or coinsurance.

Following your procedure, you may receive separate bills from the physician, facility, and anesthesia providers if any balances remain. As required by our insurance contracts, we are obligated to collect these amounts.

If you have any questions, please contact our Wilmington ASC Business Office at (910) 815-6100. We’re here to help.
