It is the first prototype of its kind in the country. It directly aligns the incentives of the employer and the provider to provide high-quality care while bending the cost curve for the employers.
- During COVID, Jeff worked with the State to develop innovative approaches that allowed Wilmington Health to be the first non-hospital provider to receive vaccines for the community.
- Wilmington Health’s newly opened ambulatory surgery center is the first in the state to provide robotic surgery to its patients.
- In addition, Wilmington Health is partitioning the State to develop the first ambulatory surgery center cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Wilmington Health continues to deliver on the promise of providing high-quality, affordable access to care. In 2022 alone, Wilmington Health demonstrated this commitment by reporting savings to the Medicare system of over $16 million, while ranking second highest in quality for all practices participating in this Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation program. It is anticipated that 2023 savings will approach $26 million to Medicare.
