When you just say, “Wow”
I attended a wedding on the riverfront this weekend and the grandfather of the bride fell and was unresponsive. Wilmington Health reacted. Our Nocturist, Dr. Shawn Deese, was the first WH interaction and advised the family, “We’ve been expecting you”. That was just the start. Subsequent interactions with the hospitalist (Dr. David Schultz) and cardiology (Dr. Greg Roberts) and their teams were stellar. The patient is a physician for over 40 years in Johnston County. His wife, a former Nurse, his daughter, a current CRNA at Wake Med, his granddaughter, a Nurse at Duke. It’s wonderful to see the far-reaching impact of the care provided by the team.
