A research study is evaluating the effects of Ozempic® (semaglutide), an FDA-approved antidiabetic medication, on renal impairment and cardiovascular conditions when added to current treatment for adults with type 2 diabetes.

This research study may be an option if you: 

•    Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with renal impairment 

•    Have an HbA1c less than or equal to 10%

•    Do not have congenital or hereditary kidney diseases

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.

Enrollment: Open

Patient Commitment Duration: Approximately 3 to 5 years

Number of visits in study: Approximately 18 clinic visits and 11 phone calls

Patient Compensation: Financial compensation may be provided for time and travel expenses
