Taking Insulin for Type 2 Diabetes

Gender: Male/Female

Description:

A research study is evaluating investigational combinations of oral medications and insulins that may aid glycemic control for type 2 diabetes.

This research study may be an option if you:

  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • Have been taking basal insulin (long-acting) once or twice daily for at least 90 days
  • Have an HbA1c between 7.5 – 11%
  • Do not have a history of pancreatitis

Other criteria apply.

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost.

Patient Commitment Duration: Taking Insulin for Type 2 Diabetes

Patient Compensation: Financial compensation may be provided for time and travel expenses.

Number of visits in study: Approximately 16 clinic visits and 8 phone calls
