Medical Condition: Osteoarthritis of the Knee

Gender: Male/Female

Description: The purpose of this study is to determine when pain returns following an investigational treatment for osteoarthritis. This research study may be an option if you:

  • Have at least 2 signs and at least 2 symptoms of Osteoarthritis Disease
    • Signs: crepitus, restricted movement, bony enlargement
    • Symptoms: persistent knee pain, limited morning stiffness, reduced function
  • Must be willing to abstain from other IA treatments of the knee for the duration of the study
  • Must be willing to use only acetaminophen for the treatment of joint pain for the duration of the study
  • Have not had any open surgical procedures on either knee or hip within the last 12 months
  • Have not had cartilage repair or ACL repair surgery in the knee within the past 3 years

Enrollment: Open

Patient Commitment Duration: Approximately 7 months

Number of visits in study: Approximately 8 clinic visits

Patient Compensation: Financial compensation will be provided for time and travel expenses
