James Appel, MD

Biography

Dermatologist Dr. Appel graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was Chief Resident at the University of Louisville Hospital, Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and currently practices out of Wilmington Health’s Porters Neck location.

Dr. Appel is a native of Lexington, KY, and he loves to watch a good basketball game.

Dr. Appel was awarded 2020 Best Doctor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
