Patient engagement plays an important role in Wilmington Health’s focus on quality, and it has for many years.
To engage patients in their care and let us know how we're doing, we routinely survey our patients and present the results to our entire team of providers every six months. With each round of surveys, we brainstorm ways to improve patient engagement and satisfaction with division chiefs. Individual providers receive their performance results as well, which are available to anyone who visits their provider page on our web site.
Our most recent survey showed that patients rate Wilmington Health providers at or above the national average for every question asked.
