Biography
Dr. Tester come from 20 years of practicing on the West Coast. He was privileged to care for a full panel of patients built up over those two decades. Leaving to come to North Carolina reinforced to him that the doctor-patient relationship is alive and well. Sharing those last visits with his long term patients as they prepared to leave Oregon was a powerful experience that reaffirmed how fortunate caregivers are for those they serve.
Dr. Tester is excited to be in the South with his family, beach, and recreational opportunities close by. He has 5 mostly grown children, and enjoys keeping up with their educational and career pursuits.
Dr. Tester and his wife enjoy time at the beach, cooking, sampling new restaurants, and restoring their historic house. They have just picked up a new sport in Kayaking and look forward to exploring the waterways. He also enjoys golfing, cycling and following the teams of his beloved UCLA Bruins.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Tester sees adult patients for primary and preventive care needs, and he helps manage chronic conditions.
