Biography
Dr. Kraebber received a BS degree in Zoology from the University of Georgia in 1977 and an M.D. Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1981. He was Dr. Peter L. Scardino’s last urology resident at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia completing his residency in 1988. He is currently Urology Division Chief at Wilmington Health, a 250+ provider-physician owned multi-specialty clinic in Wilmington, North Carolina. Dr. Kraebber is certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. David M Kraebber became the 86th president of the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association on April 24, 2021 at the annual business meeting held virtually from Nashville, Tennessee. The Southeastern Section is the largest in the American Urological Association comprising 9 states with over 2000 members.
Dr. Kraebber is past-President of the North Carolina Urological Association and currently on their Board of Directors. He is past-President of the Southern Society of Urological Surgeons. He served 6 years on the Board of Directors of UROPAC. He served as Treasurer of the SESAUA from 2017 to 2020.
