Wilmington Health Physicians Receive Recognition

Four providers make Best Doctors, Inc. list of top North Carolina physicians

In a recent poll by Best Doctors, Inc., Wilmington Health physicians Kevin O’Neil, MD; Paul Kamitsuka, MD, DTM&H; Paul Whitesides Jr., MD; and Michael Parker, MD, MMM, FACS, were recognized as top physicians in their fields. This poll is conducted annually. North Carolina physicians are asked to vote for whom they feel are the top physicians. The 2011 list includes more than 1600 doctors in 49 specialties.

“We are all very grateful for the positive feedback from our peers in North Carolina,” said Dr. Parker. “We’re proud to be listed among many other talented and skilled specialists in the state.”

The Wilmington Health physicians were recognized in the following categories:

Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Kevin Michael O’Neil

Infectious Diseases
Dr. Paul Kamitsuka

Endocrinology and Metabolism
Dr. Paul C. Whitesides Jr.   

Otolaryngology
Dr. Michael Y. Parker
