Wilmington Health Adds Orthopaedic Surgery Department

Wilmington Health welcomes its first orthopaedic surgeon, Scott Colquhoun, MD. He will see patients at 1202 Medical Center Drive and 1899 North Marine Boulevard in Jacksonville.  He will be the head of Wilmington Health's newest department, Orthopaedic Surgery.

As an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Colquhoun will provide surgical and non-surgical care to patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including fractures, or injuries of the bones, muscles, joints, or tendons.

Dr. Colquhoun received his bachelor's degree in biology from Valdosta State University, Valdosta, GA. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta. He completed his internship in general surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center, Jacksonville.
