Wilmington Health Adds Department of Podiatry

Wilmington Health welcomes its first podiatrist, Dr. Matthew Dzurik. He will see patients at 1202 Medical Center Drive and will be the head of Wilmington Health's newest department.

"As a healthcare organization, we are committed to meeting our patients' ever-changing needs and expectations," said Jeff James, Chief Executive Officer of Wilmington Health. "By adding our first podiatrist, we hope to ensure our level of commitment."

In the Department of Podiatry, Dr. Dzurik diagnoses, treats, and helps prevent diseases and disorders affecting the feet and ankles of adults and children.

Dr. Dzurik is fellowship trained and completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. He received his bachelor's degree in biomedical chemistry from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK, and his medical degree from Des Moines University, Des Moines, IA.
