Wilmington Health joins the 2009 Cape Fear Heart Walk

Team members from all areas of the Wilmington Health system grabbed their friends and family members to participate in the 2009 Cape Fear Heart Walk. There was a very nice turn out for the event held in Legion Stadium at Greenfield Park on October 17th, 2009. The Heart Walk is one of the biggest efforts to raise funds for the American Heart Associations ongoing fight against heart disease. Wilmington Health was proud to assist such a vital organization striving to improve the health of not only the citizens of the greater Wilmington, NC area, but throughout the country.
