Dr. Michael Parker earned a BA in English and an MD from UNC. He trained in General Surgery at Dartmouth and returned to UNC for his training in Ear, Nose & Throat and Head and Neck Surgery. He practiced in Raleigh for twenty years as a founding member of Capitol Ear, Nose & Throat before relocating to Wilmington. In 1998, he earned a Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University and has maintained an interest in the business side of practice while continuing to see patients full time. He teaches courses for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery on the practical utilization of electronic medical records.
