Dr. Scott Colquhoun recently became one of the first physicians in the nation to perform a new patient-customized knee replacement surgery called VISIONAIRE Patient Match Technology. VISIONAIRE uses a patient’s MRI and x-ray images to design and build surgical instruments customized for their unique knee anatomy. The VISIONAIRE system eliminates multiple steps from the surgery and reduces time under anesthesia. Plus an implant placed with this computer-guided precision has a reduced risk of the kind of misalignment that can cause it to wear out before its time.
